Max's pizza and grill

Music was very loud and we were the only patrons in the place . Ordered 2 fried green tomatoes appetizers for $6.99 each and there were only four tomato slices in the basket!! Also no seasoning in the batter on the tomatoes or at least I couldn’t taste or see it. I would not have ordered had I known. Perch basket was plentiful but no seasoning that I could see or taste.

Band was great - Thunder Creek Band Let’s start with food - oil for fried food hasn’t been changed in a long time - food came out burnt looking shrimp and mushrooms and mozz sticks (bad oil) Cheesy steak sandwich tasted like salt in every bite. Fries okay Salads were very good and fresh Pizza was very good and tasty Did enjoy our self here but don’t know if I’d go back again. There were 8 of us dining in.

We order the perch dinner that comes with fries and coleslaw. No coleslaw at all, said they just ran out, find that hard to believe they wasn’t busy. Ask if they had a substitute was told no, so paid for an incomplete meal. The fish needed another minute or two in the fryer. First time here and last time.

Staff was very friendly! We tried a variety of food to see what was good. Everything came out pretty good. We had the sampler appitizer, wings, pizza, loaded steak fries, and stromboli. Everything was good, just minor issues. Pizza was a tad soggy on the bottom from the amount of grease but we still loved the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Wings were crispy but needed either more sauce on the chicken or have an extra side of sauce to dip. Definitely will go back to try more!

Cool place 😃, friendly service 😁, very delicious 😋 pizza 🍕. We have Door Dashed there for at least months then finally tried the pizza it was excellent 👌. I would definitely recommend and we will return soon. 🙂
