Maw's Sandwich & Snack Shop

Not worth the drive out of the city necessarily but if you're down in these parts for other business it's some of the best food around. Solid shrimp po'boy and a few fun specialties (crawfish etouffee kickers). Pro tip is to call ahead and place your order to avoid a long wait (like we had) - although that means most everything is cooked to order. Very clean restroom outside the restaurant. Good prices.

Out here in the middle of nowhere(city gal 🤪) and found this cute little cafe style snack shack and decided to give it a try. I’m glad we did. The place is much larger than it appears to be from the outside. Super cute clean decor. The staff was very welcoming soon as you walk through the door. We ordered the burger steak w/fries and for the side fried mushrooms, and the fish, oyster, shrimp platter w/boudain egg rolls for the side, beignets, and a scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Total was a little over $60. The food is pretty good for snack food. Although some of our food was pretty burnt(fried mushrooms and hush puppies)

Told they were closed at 6 by staff, but the sign clearly says closing at 7pm on a Saturday. I wanted to try this place but not anymore. Go elsewhere and save the trouble

I come here for lunch often and the food is good. The air is pumping and it is clean. I haven't tried any of the shakes or snowballs yet but they look so delicious.

Tried several sandwiches, shakes, and sides while in town. Every menu item was excellent and not too greasy. Price is excellent.
