Master Noodle (Saint Paul)

Stopped in here with the wife for some fuel after a blood donation. We loved it alot! You had the choice of either ordering directly from the table via QR code or waiting for a server to come to your table. The staff was very nice and helpful. We ordered the scallion pancakes, Sichuan wonton in chili oil and the Mongolian Beef entree. Everything was delicious! The scallion pancakes were a little bit thinner than I'm used to but the flavor was great especially with the provided sauce. The noodles were excellent just the right consistency that you get out of hand-pulled noodles. The restaurant was overall very quiet and laid back. With pretty artwork and a nice vibe. Yum! Great flavors and prices. The service was slow and inattentive, ie. never checked in; had to flag down the server 3 times to get what we needed. Fun watching the chef hand pull the noodles. The scallion pancakes were light, delicate and delicious. The beef rib noodle soup had 4 large beef rib bones in a beefy spicy chili oil broth and lots of noodles. The highlight was the Shanxi oil splashing noodles with added shrimp and black fungus. They made a splash both in flavor and on my glasses. Off the Hamline-Midway stop on the green line in Midtown. Highly recommend!

An exceptionally well done traditional Chinese noodle shop. Handmade/ handpulled noodles are the pride and joy of Chinese culture and this place exemplifies that in the twin cities. The broth and quality of my Taiwanese beef tomato soup was pretty good. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu soon.

Huge fan of this place! Delicious hand pulled noodles made right in front for you to see. We enjoyed the pork sandwich and pork dumplings as an appetizer. The noodles we had were delicious. Really appreciate the hand made texture, they were nice and chewy. The soup and noodles had great flavor. The portions were great for the price. The service was attentive and quick. The interior was also super unique and nice. This restaurant has lots of delicious staple dishes from all across China.
