Masa sushi

We recently dined at Daiko Jerry San's Sushi Bar which was our best Japanese culinary experience in CT to date. And next up was Masa Sushi which friends recommended; we were excited to check it out and see how it compares. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the recommendation or comparison; the dining experience was average at best. Some of the food was good while other dishes were not. Total bill for party of 3, excluding tip, was $135 which included 2 cocktails and a beer, two appetizers, and 4 entrees. One of the sushi entrees was excellent, one was not, and of the two hibachi dishes ordered, the vegetarian hibachi arrived with equal parts cold and warm, and both hibachi dishes had oily and bland rice. Have visited twice - Very good service & food, and nice & relaxed ambience. Lunch specials available through Saturdays - a plus Gluten free soy sauce and celiac friendly.

I’m so happy Masa Sushi is here! Because I’m live in Clinton and we need the good restaurant in Town. My husband and I were love this restaurant very much. The food is always so good! The staff and the owner are very nice! There Sushi always fresh and good and the Hibachi is very delicious also! I’m highly recommend this place to anyone!

I can't say enough goid things! Freshest sushi is have ever had. The owner and staff are the friendliest and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Can't wait to go back for more sushi pizza 😋

Fish was fresh & very taste. All servers were very kind & pleasant. Gentleman at the front door was very kind as well! Great experience. Would return
