Great public library in the City of Whitney Point, NY 13862. The Head Librarian, Stephanie and other staff members are very pleasant, friendly, and happy to help! Cool DVD section to pickup and watch your favorite movies at home. Clean and well maintained computer work stations and printers with high-speed connectivity. Good quiet and comfortable location to grab a book to read and relax. 04/19/2024 I went there to print out some of documents and make some copies. Stephanie assisted me and she was very helpful!

What a little gem in Whitney Point! Location is great. Stephanie the librarian helped me get setup with a card in just a few minutes. Very clean. Part of the Four County Library system so I’m super excited to see all the availability for ebooks on the Libby app! Highly recommend getting your hands on one of the few free tools of education available for all

The librarian was very friendly when I signed up for my library card today. She gave me a tour of this small, box layout library gem in Whitney Point. The space is mostly comprised of adult fiction, and a good middle school and younger reading area, which I imagine is based on community need. There are also three computers available, surprisingly good-sized DVD and audio selections, and a hallway of large print texts. Non-fiction is organized by call number, so it may be best to ask for assistance in that area (which I'll have to do--because there is nothing like a humor packed memoir). The hours are also note-worthy in comparison to other small town communities! One of my cherished and absolute favorite resources within our town!! We are blessed with some super awesome ladies, who have been a great support to others throughout the years!!

It's a "boutique" library; an old house that was Willed to the town to remain as a library. A good selection of well-known and long-standing popular authors. A nice area for kids, and the librarian Stephanie runs a comfortably tight ship to accommodate patrons. It's a great local library.
