Martel Bistro & Bar

As far as suburban restaurants go, Martel is a great choice. They don’t accept reservations smaller than six people, but I’ve never had much trouble being seated, especially if you go a little earlier or later than peak dinner hours. Come for the escargots, French onion soup, generous portions, and one of the largest martini pours I’ve ever seen. Everything else passes the sniff test.

A delightful spot for seafood lovers. Their lobster roll is really good, tender lobster mixed with mayo, celery leaves, and chives, all served on a perfectly toasted bun. It's a must-try! The oysters are fantastic, especially during happy hour when they offer great deals. The Charles Island oysters are fresh and flavorful.

Food presentation was eye appealing, with the taste beyond delicious. I had the Scallops over risotto, and friends had the Duck, and the Branzino!!! We all loved our meals!

I went for Valentine’s Day and the food was amazing! I was sat right next to the door which was not ideal because I felt the gust of wind when someone came in or left. It is a very small place but the food makes it worth it! The best coconut cake that I’ve ever had. They also post their specials everyday online!

What a pleasant surprise this place was. Food was so delicious, you absolutely should try their escargot in the appetizers section. Their whole chicken was really good as well. Great drinks selection. Place is rather small on the inside and was packed on a Friday night. They do have a bar and this is definitely a locals' favorite. A very pleasant atmosphere overall and friendly staff. Highly recommend, and I personally will be back for more !!! Small update: as expected we went back for more and it was just as delicious as before if not more! This time we had a party of 10, side note - do make a reservation ahead for anything more than 6 people. Salmon, trout and bransino were absolutely my favorite. Steak, lamb and short rib were fingerlicking good :) Service was on point and fast even
