Marketplace Café at Nordstrom

Had a great quick lunch with my sister and it was delicious! I can’t believe this was our first time eating here. Service was 10/10!

Solid takeout option. The shrimp arugula salad is super tasty. The kids mac and cheese was loved by my 5 & 1.5 year old. I should have gotten two orders. I actually liked it as well, and I don’t usually like Mac and cheese- so a solid option even if your kids happen to pass on it.

Today I ate at Nordstrom’s Marketplace. It’s a beautiful setting and our waitress was lovely but my sandwich (turkey, bacon, avocado) was sorely lacking. Much too much turkey, a bit of avocado, a sad piece of tomato on hard bread. And it was pricey. In addition, the music was too loud and couldn’t be turned down. This venue would be a perfect place for all kinds of groups but it was practically empty. Can’t talk with music that overwhelms! And my bill was $27 for sandwich and one scoop of ice cream, tax and tip. Too much for a retired oldster!

This place used to be so much better. They’ve definitely cut corners and went downhill. They got rid of the best sandwich on the menu which was the turkey cranberry sandwich and ever since that happened, everything else has went downhill. They’ve removed a lot of good dishes and old salads they used to have. It’s really disappointing because this was one of my favorite places.

The food is a little pricey here. But it’s expected since it is in Nordstrom. But i love their the food. The flavor is there and the customer is good! Definitely try this place at least once and you will not be let down!!
