Market Basket delicatessen

Stopped in here coming off the highway looking for a decent deli. Run by mother-daughter duo, we met the mother. She seemed to know everyone by name that came in (excluding us out of towners). Super polite, generous portions, bread was tasty and fresh. Exactly what we wanted. Would definitely recommend stopping by.

Food was great, got the Ruben and potato salad on the side. Customer service was also amazing and the deli itself was clean and very cozy. Will be stopping back in whenever I’m in Kingston

Great sandwiches, and just the nicest, friendliest people. Getting lunch doesn't usually feel joyful, but here it did.

Had a delicious Italian combo, also have amazing breakfast sandwiches. Come check them out!

Maybe we came on an off day or time of day or ordered the wrong stuff but this food was awful. My wife got a house salad (they had a sign advertising that they have salads) and it was worse than college cafeteria food. I got a chicken salad sandwich but they were out so I got some other concoction with a bunch of grapes in it. It was fine though too many grapes but the salad was hella gross. The crazy thing was that at noon on Friday they were out of everything including chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad, roast beef, pastrami, eggs, tomatoes, and turkey. I appreciate that this is a minority-owned mother and daughter business and they were both very kind (particularly the daughter). But the food was some of the worst we’ve ever had.
