Customer Reviews
I dined here this evening and enjoyed a well-prepared torta with a large lemonade. The torta was a good size and definitely was worth the money. What makes this establishment noteworthy is its ability to deliver high-quality food at excellent prices, all with impressive speed. The service was exceptional, with the staff fluent in both Spanish and English. A special thanks to Cristian and his family for providing exceptional service. I would 100% come here again!
Tamales are very dry and they stick to the corn husk. Definitely needs more Manteca (Lard) and maybe some flavor to the masa. It tastes like plain store bought pre made masa that’s mass produced to not say the brand name. The green chicken filling is ok but needs more moisture to help the masa. And the same goes for the red pork moisture would definitely help the dry Grainy masa. And just a little more seasoning to the meat to balance the flavorless mass. We got a dozen half-and-half of what I mentioned above I was so excited to try them out, but was left very disappointed. And we felt Nauseous afterwards on top of that We got a large chocolate champurrado which you we’ll see it the picture I didn’t like the super strong smell of masa and the taste. I really didn’t get any hints of chocol
The service was quick; however, the food was very disappointing. I was really looking forward to trying these tamales, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The red pork tamales were not good. The tamales were poorly prepared. My son and I both bit into large pieces of pork fat not once, but twice. The meat was not properly shredded, and the sauce was not strained, leaving pieces of chile pods inside the tamal. This shows a lack of care in preparation and attention to quality.
Slow service. Food has barely sny taste. I wanted to try it since its new. Won't come back. They had no pork tamales. Id avoid this place. You not missing anything here. I dont see it staying open long. There taco corn taco.shells are raw almost barely cooked. There goat meat isn't that good neither. Very disappointing
The people here are very friendly and provide great service. The tamales, however, were a bit hit or miss. The green and red tamales had good flavor, but the green ones had masa that stuck to the leaves, and the red ones had some hard bits in the masa. The strawberry and pineapple tamales lacked flavor and were quite dry. On a positive note, the champurrado was really good.
