Marge E Hudak Public Swimming Pool

This place is truly an asset to our community. They offer classes for all fitness levels, whether you enjoy aquacise, Hydrofit, or swimming lessons—there’s something for everyone. The facility has lap lanes, slides for kids, and a diving board, making it great for all ages. The staff genuinely cares, and it shows in everything they do, from water temperature and exercise modifications to the music playlist and special events. I’ve also noticed real improvements over the past few months in pool cleanliness, temperature consistency, WiFi connection, and communication. I honestly don’t know what we’d do without this place!

I have to start with the amazing pool manager, Shanell Thomas. The pool is lucky to have her. She always has a smile on her face, making everyone feel so welcomed, and has a fabulous hydrofit class. I go to hydrofit on Monday and Wednesdays. These people have been so kind to a beginner like myself. This hidden gem in Bailey also has pickleball on Sundays. I highly recommend the Marge E Hudak pool and see Shanell. She will lead you the right direction.

What a great place for our little mountain community! They have wonderful kid and adult classes, open swim, and even a room with weights and exercise equipment. Oh, and now they are offering Pickleball! Yes, the facilities are older, but everything is clean and the place is very well-managed.

I just started the hydro fit class. I truly love it. I felt welcomed by staff and class members. The pool is warm and clean and so are the locker rooms. I definitely recommend trying out a class on Monday or Wednesday nights.

The Marge E Hudak pool is a hub for healthy fun in the Platte Canyon area. I attend Hydrofit on Mondays & Wednesdays for a great pool workout with Shanell Thomas, & my whole family enjoys Pickleball Sundays in the attached B gym with Simone. Anyone in the Pine Junction-Bailey-Shawnee area should most definitely check it out!
