Marek's Restaurant

Did not have food here yet, just stopped in for a cocktail. Very busy and great vibe for a Thursday night. Hostess and staff were extremely accommodating and secured us a great seat on the porch. We had a positive experience with the staff, who is driven clearly to be attentive and pleasant. We look forward to a return to enjoy a meal.

Have been several times in the past few months and have seen the restaurant get more busy. This is a good thing, however it’s becoming clear the staff is having a hard time handling the crowds. Service is slow, bartenders barely acknowledge you or they give you a menu but never return to take an order. The host staff can be rude and unwelcoming during busy times. Definitely overwhelmed by the popularity of the restaurant. We really want to like this place, but most times it’s not an enjoyable experience.

After Ubering to this restaurant for our 7:45 reservation, the hostess told us our reservation has been canceled. No reason why? Just canceled by the restaurant due to being so busy? They offered to seat us outside on a 50 degree evening. Spoke to manager and was told the same. Unfortunately we won’t be back. Unprofessional service - at least a text to notify us before we got a Uber would have been nice.

We came here for the first time and it was a very good experience. This restaurant was built in the Collier's House. The design is modern and welcoming, the staff very nice and courteous. The food was delicious. Marissa was our bartender. She was great too. I suggest live music, piano or piano ensemble would be great for the ambience since there isn't any like that in the island. We're coming back next week. Congratulations!

First time visiting the restaurant. It had a great vibe and set up. Very busy. A little pricey but tolerable. The biggest complaint our group of 8 had was the acoustics were really bad. So loud and hard to hear everyone talking at our table. Need some discreetly installed sound deadening panels around the restaurant. Other than that it was nice.
