I recently went to Marcello’s Restaurant in Bordentown, NJ, and it definitely stands out from your typical pizza spot. The restaurant itself is very nice and feels surprisingly upscale for a pizza place. It has a polished interior, great lighting, and an overall elevated vibe that makes it feel more like a trendy Italian eatery than just somewhere to grab a slice. It is on the pricier side for pizza, but you can see where the money goes in the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. The Margherita pizza is amazing. We had our valentines dinner here on Feb 14. Our reservation was set for 9:00pm and we arrived maybe five minutes early. We waiting maybe two mins and then was seated. The restaurant had dim lights and decorations were valentines themed which was cute. Very very busy which is to be expected. We sat in the dinning room, im not a huge fan of sitting next to others but I will say thank god the couples around us were just as quiet, respectful of others. Our waiter was very sweet and kind. Definitely could sense she was a new employee which later in the night we did confirm but for being new she did great. She provided great service and had a great personality. We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday here with a party of 24 people, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. The service was absolutely above and beyond—attentive, organized, and genuinely kind from start to finish. Feeding a group that large is no easy task, yet every dish came out warm and delicious. In fact three guests were gluten free including the birthday girl and they accommodated perfectly. The setup was comfortable and perfect for a celebration, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the night. I grew up going here on and off throughout the years, and this experience truly blew me away. It exceeded every expectation and reminded me why this place has stood the test of time. Highly recommend for both special occasions and everyday dining!

So today I had a taste for some Italian food. I searched around and found Marcello’s coal fired restaurant and pizza. Let say it was worth it. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to experience the atmosphere and or service but when my food was delivered it was nicely packaged, warm, and absolutely delicious. I ordered lasagna and sausage and peppers and let me tell you I absolutely devoured every bit. The flavor excellent, and met my expectations. Next time, I will definitely visit the restaurant and I hope the service is the same as the taste.

Service was excellent, food was amazing, our server was beautiful and super menu knowledgeable, I ordered the house sangria (delicious), and a Garlic Knot Chicken cutlet sandwich, it has pesto, cheese and comes with a side of the best Vodka sauce I have Ever Had. Then I ordered the Crem Brule' (it was so good, just melts in your mouth). I went on a Thursday. (Friday, Saturday, Sunday I recommend you reserve a table, because Burlington NJ is popping, I just didn't know. It gets super busy.
