Crumb Bordentown

Listen, I don’t know who gave Crumb permission to be this aggressive with their flavor profiles, but I’m currently writing this from a food-induced coma. First off, let’s talk about this homemade sourdough focaccia. Calling it "bread" feels like an insult. It’s a pillowy, golden cloud of gluten that I’m pretty sure was baked by angels. I’d consider using a slab of it as a pillow if I weren’t so busy shoving it in my face. The Heavy Hitters: The El Jefe: This sandwich has more personality than most people I know. The pork, the ham, the pickles... it’s a power move in sandwich form. It’s not just a meal; it’s a promotion. The Fresh Prince: I pulled up to the curb about 7 or 8, and I yelled to the sandwich "Yo, home to my stomach!" This prime rib/sautéed onion combo is royalty. It’s so goo

What an unexpected surprise. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. I had to meet a customer down in Bordentown city so I stopped in to the crumb for something to take on the road. As soon as I took a bite of a sandwich, all other thoughts stopped The bread was a focaccia, but it was a focaccia made perhaps in another world. It was so light and airy with a thin crust just enough to keep the chicken salad in and not make the sandwich too bready. The chicken salad with the apples and the walnuts and other ingredients was absolutely delicious and it was amazing because of this bread finishing this whole sandwich, which was pretty good size did not overstuffed me This is a 10 Star place. I can’t wait to return and try their Other menu items highly highly recommend

This Wednesday afternoon, I walked into Crumb as usual, greeting everyone in the restaurant. Crumb is a dog-friendly café and had always been a wonderful environment — until this experience. As I walked in, a dog aggressively barked at me. I did literally nothing wrong other than being Black. I proceeded to grab my order and overheard the cashier (an older woman I had never encountered) reassuring the dog’s owner that the behavior was “okay.” The dog’s well-being was placed above my own, and the danger I experienced was dismissed. This is yet another example of why historically Black people have never been safe in our own lands. Do better, Crumb. You have some outstanding younger staff who represent your community well, and in this moment, their reputation was ruined.

Ordered our food at 6:00, ready at 6:15, and they close at 7; all I gotta say is… this was the best take out ever lol they really killed it, everything was so good. The attention to detail in their bread selection, bread toastyness, and seasoning! If you’re craving a solid cheesesteak, burger, and dog… crumb/gouldsburgers!!!!!!

Must GO! Food was delicious. We stopped on our way to Six Flags. We were not disappointed. From the time we walked in till the time we left completely satisfied. No wait. Wonderful workers. Love this place. The food was great. We will Definitely come again !!!
