Customer Reviews
The food was excellent, I felt it was high quality with large portions. Everything about this place shows signs that the food was going to be good; just a little restaurant, we got there right before it got busy, but lots of people picking up for take-out. Only two people working, a cook and the server, so everything took a bit of time. I would say the should expand and higher more people, but maybe the quality of the food would then not be as good 🤷♀️
This is a small hole in the wall place. Seems most of its business is take out. The dine in is a few tables that are small and a bit uncomfortable to sit at. You order and pay then sit at a table. The sushi itself is very fresh and delicious. The problem is the rolls are way too big to eat in one bite. And the seaweed was thick so you couldn’t really take bites. Same with the sashimi, pieces too big to eat in a single bite. It would be better to charge less and make them normal size rolls and cuts.
Not the cheapest sushi option around, but the spicy tuna poke bowl I got had to have been the best poke bowl I've ever had. Large chunks of tuna and plenty of crab mixed in with a delicious sauce. The rice was divine, and all the extra toppings were a great touch! The takoyaki was above average, always a nice adder to a meal. But it's the poke bowl that will have me coming back!
Good flavors, sushi rolls were huge sand dollar in width size, not easy to fit in your mouth, not easy to eat and not look like your stuffing your face and sauce dripping drop your chin. Smaller is better in this case. But good customer service, very warm and friendly.
Absolutely love Manna. The quality of the sushi is fantastic and the service is great. The sushi burritos are my go-to whenever I come here. If I were to ever leave Salem, this would be the food spot that I’d miss the most.
