Mandarin Pine Restaurant

As a thriller and romance author, I appreciate places with history and atmosphere, and Mandarin Pine has been part of my life for more than twenty years. I first learned about it from my grandparents, and I’ve been coming back ever since. The space has the kind of warm, familiar energy where I could easily see a scene opening in one of my novels. A quiet table. Steam rising from a bowl. A conversation that turns serious. It has that classic, steady feel that works just as well for family dinners as it would for a thriller setup or a quiet romance moment. They offer both dine-in and takeout, and there’s a separate room that works well for parties and gatherings. It’s often busy, which says something about how much the community supports it, but not so crowded that it becomes overwhelming.

Some of the best Chinese food that I have ever had!!! Great service, great food, for a good price. They also have drinks from their bar, rumor has it, the drinks are great also. We love coming here 💞

The items almost taste the same and the batter is a bit thick on the chicken and shrimp.

THIS IS NOT CHINESE FOOD! Food: Ordered the #3. Cafeteria standard. There was some mushy slope of onions and celery, with shaved red bbq pork sprinkled on top which tasted somewhat like the overly thickened soup - I am guessing it is supposed to be some kind of salad. Sweet and sour chicken was dry but at least crunching until the sad sauce softens it (better to keep it separate), when I read crispy noodles, I expect the thin fried noodles, not some corrupted thick fried noodles pretending to be Asian food that you can buy from the grocery store. The spicy chicken .. wrong kind of spicy, but acceptable. Service: Oh, they lost my order - but at least they came out to make sure everyone had been tended to, so kudos to that.. Atmosphere: feels more like a bar then a restaurant, but above aver

So I'm gonna give their food a 20/20 it's so freaking good, honestly probably the best restaurant style Asian cuisine we've ever had, whoever your chef is keep him tight and give him a raise because he or she knows their flavors, we were so impressed with the food, sadly our waitress could have been more attentive, she checked on us once the whole 1 1/2 hours we were there besides dropping off our main dishes so we didn't leave a tip, we noticed she was helping everyone else way more, but beyond crummy customer service the food was well worth it. And the host was very nice, Thank you so much to the Mandarin pine chef we will return. We decided we found our new date spot, it's a very clean restaurant and the minute you walk in it smells amazing 😍🤩 I think Gordan Ramsay would approve 💜🤤🤤🤤
