The moms who run the deli are wonderful people. Food is yummy. They make you feel so loved and cared for. They made Ethiopian coffee for us. They roasted the coffee first. Then ground them, and serving us delicious ☕️

The mamas making sandwiches at Mama’s market so nice and generous. We enjoyed two of the very delicious and reasonably-priced sandwiches and finished off our meal with Ethiopian coffee service. The coffee was so strong and aromatic. Though it’s new to the Midway, it really feels like part of the neighborhood serving neighbors!

I absolutely love Mamas — it’s become one of my favorite gathering places, and I keep finding myself coming back again and again for meetings, conversations, and simply to recharge with a healthy juice! Their fresh juices are incredible and. Wrey affordable, the sandwiches are made with so much care, and the traditional Ethiopian coffee is truly to die for — rich, aromatic, and served with genuine hospitality. But what makes Mamas so special is the people: every visit feels like being welcomed into a community. It’s always easy to strike up a great conversation, meet someone new, or just soak in the energy of the space. I love this place. The prices are affordable and the families that run the business are so kind and welcoming. The smoothies and sandwiches are delicious, there are tables & chairs in the back and now wifi! I don't drive so having fresh produce in the neighborhood is a game changer. Between here and Kim's, I love knowing my money is staying here in Midway and I barely ever need to go to the grocery chain stores anymore

We enjoyed our visit to Mama's Market & Deli. We had a Marsala Chicken sub, with wonderful bread, fresh veggies & special Mama's sauce. We enjoyed the traditional coffee ceremony with Amina serving coffee with beans she roasted on the spot. Coffee was smooth with no bitterness. The mango papaya smoothie was so good! We had a great time & will be back.
