Mama's Greek Cuisine

Undoubtedly the best Greek I have ever eaten! Succulent juicy and flavorful chicken perfectly seasoned and hint of heat in the tzatziki sauce and salad dressing my entire meal was packed full of flavor. I ordered the horiatiki salad and added chicken. Mouth watering! The pita had a hint of crisp on the outside and soft in the center! Served warm and fresh. Perfection! It’s one of those places you will drive hours to eat because you crave it’s deliciousness ⭐️🤤⭐️🤤⭐️🤤⭐️🤤⭐️

We had a terrific family lunch here while out shopping! We ate out on the patio area since it was very covered, which made it a bit warmer than the cold wind that was blowing outside. We started with the flaming cheese and I ordered a chicken slouvaki. I had been having a hard time with my appetite up until that point, and man did this lunch cure it! First, our service was great! It was busy, and we had just come in and ordered before a large group which was lucky. They lit the cheese on fire in front of us and then we dug in. It was delicious! I added feta to my chicken slouvaki and extra onions. The pita was toasted/fried which upped the level of it's goodness even more. The lunch menu at Mama’s is fantastic! Our server Michael was super attentive with drink refills and anything we needed and the food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return for lunch again when in Tarpon Springs. Love that they include unlimited soft drinks on the lunch menu - Such a great value!

IMO Mama’s is the best Greek food in Tarpon Springs. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and it’s all delish ! Also the server and the manager were super sweet ! EDIT We are back ! And food is amazing per usual ! Tried a platter this time and of course the spinach pie Spanicopita. The calamari is the best I’ve ever had ! We had Greek Sangria (first time) it was happy hour BOGO, was delicious with a hint of cinnamon. The owners/manager Pete is a sweetheart and you can tell the family really cares about this restaurant and the customers. Our waitress Thalias (spelling) was such a doll. This is our only place to eat in Tarpon springs

My wife and I recently hosted friends from Pennsylvania in Tarpon Springs. Frank told us he was very excited to visit one of the Greek restaurants so he could order Kleftiko. It’s a traditional Greek dish that he had enjoyed in a restaurant in London years ago. I started looking through online menus to see who served this. No one did. I chose 8 Greek restaurants and started emailing to see if anyone could prepare this dish. 7 either responded that they couldn’t or didn’t respond at all. Pantelis, from Mama’s Greek Cuisine, responded that he had checked with his chef and she would be glad to specially prepare this dish. We made reservations. Despoina, our server, was fabulous!
