The Greeks Taverna

We stopped on our way through Tarpon Springs on Saturday evening. Wow, this was a small chunk of Greek perfection! The casual atmosphere was super clean, cool and delightful ... the Greece photos added to the charm. Our server was sweet and helpful. But, the food, that was the star. The portions were huge! And, the favors amazing! I'm thrilled we discovered this restaurant! We will be visiting again.

The gyros were good. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. I think they deserve 4 stars but I was very close to 3 stars because the gyros were not hot and slightly warm. I also think a can of Coke for 4.00$ is a bit much.

I ordered the gyro platter with lamb/beef meat and lemon potatoes instead of fries, it was great! My daughter ordered the hummus appetizer, and it was mostly unremarkable. Our server was very attentive, and professional. There was plenty of seating, our food was cooked fresh, and we would come back.

The best Gyro in Tarpon Springs! I ordered the pork gyro. I couldn't believe how big it was. Tasty and flavorful. Ioanna took excellent care of me. I gave a five star rating on the atmosphere because it reminds me of Greece. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. Pastitso, Mousaka etc

Friendly staff.......good service.....definitely the best gyro in Tarpon. Pancetta could have been a little better but I've been back a few times for the gyro. The place is clean also. Parking may be an issue but that shouldn't stop you.
