Taste or warm homey food. All food area is clean and I see the service always cleaning! Fast cooking. Make your own sauce and get your water! Price acceptable!
I liked the variety of ingredients they offered. I usually chose what I felt like eating that day, but maybe I should try their set bowls also. There were a lot of customers during lunch time around noon, so if I could not find a seat, I would just order a set bowl and bring it home.
This was my first time here. The place and buffet section were very clean and the staff cleaned each table quickly. You get the bowl, pick up everything you want, they weigh your dry ingredients, you choose your broth and then you pay. There is a 0.8 lb minimuim. I paid around $27 for this meal which weighed 2.2 lb including the bowl. Your bowl is taken to the kitchen and brought back to you very hot. There were a lot of food options mainly meats, seafood, mushroom, tofu, veggies and noodle types (egg, buckwheat, etc). I got 2 fried eggs, lots of garlic beef, bok choy, 2 fish balls with pork inside, hot pot noodles and the spicy sichuan soup base. I asked about the dry mix option because theres not much info on the menu and they let me know it was a peanut sauce base with seasame oil. Th
Especially during winters I love coming here for a warm and hearty meal. They have excellent variety of meats. The service is very friendly and location is clean and accessible. Will be returning
This malatang place was such a pleasant surprise! The ingredients are fresh and there’s a wide variety to choose from — everything from vegetables to meats and tofu products is neatly arranged and looks super appetizing. What impressed me the most was the broth: spicy, aromatic, and flavorful without being overwhelming. It has just the right kick and is so addictive, I couldn’t stop sipping it. The wide noodles and beef balls were especially satisfying — they soaked up all the rich flavors of the soup. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean and well-organized. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m craving something spicy. Highly recommended for anyone who loves bold flavors!
