Maine Lobstah Shack

A FIVE-STAR stop for the family at Surf City's Maine Lobstah Shack. Excellent menu and drinks, very helpful and friendly staff, great merch, and best of all SUPER Lobstah Rolls! All dining is outdoors and the Surf City Park is right next door, with lots of activities for the kiddos!

The staff was very nice and helpful and the location was just relaxing. Great view of the bridge and clean sitting area (outdoor). The “lobstah” roll was packed with huge pieces of lobster and it was delicious. I also got the clam chowder, so I left full and happy! I was also starving because I somehow managed to forget a picture of the actual meal. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely enjoy the freshest, well prepared lobster 🦞 in a family-owned eatery. In Surf City, a short drive from everywhere it is a must for all. As a lifelong northern coastal gal I can vouch this one of the best prepared lobster outside of Maine. Trevor & Jenn, bff’s & family are gracious to all. Their unique story warms the heart as does the food. Lobster bisque samples were served as we walked up. One taste I knew they could cook! We ordered the bisque & lobster in a bowl with romaine lettuce. Unadorned you can taste the freshness & perfectly cooked it was. Bravo!! It was so great we ordered 2nd’s & visiting again. Dessert tidbits were passed out freely, sweet. If this eatery were in a traditional seafood restaurant it would have easy cost 3+x’s the price. It’s that good. The view is

Hands down, this is the best seafood I have eaten in the Wilmington area. And here’s the crazy part. If you didn’t know better, you might put this place on the back burner just because of how unassuming it looks. Don’t make that mistake. This outdoor setup is quietly serving some of the most incredible seafood you will ever put in your mouth. They do an outstanding job of packing real, generous portions of lobster into everything. No skimping. Just legit seafood. Whatever they are doing with their seasoning, sauces, and bisque base is absolutely remarkable. The way they elevate the lobster flavor is both inspiring and unforgettable. I had the lobster bisque, which was loaded with lobster, and the clam chowder, and both were among the best I’ve ever had. We had such a great experience at Maine Lobsah Shack! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a young lady who was not only super kind but also so personable. Even though they were busy at the time, she went above and beyond by offering us little samples of the lobster bisque and clam chowder while we waited to order—both were delicious! The lobster roll itself was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Overall, wonderful service paired with incredible food. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Surf City/Topsail area!
