New seafood spot in Surf City. The menu looks amazing. We tried the hush puppies, calamari, and crab dip appetizers. The crab dip was our fav. Had a little horseradish which gave it a nice but different flavor. Entrees included fish and chips, shrimp and grits, cheeseburger, and ribeye. The ribeye was too thin for the price and a tad overcooked. Everything was good. The burger was probably the best. They brought out the wrong sauces which is not a big deal until I got the bill and saw they charge for ranch. Not worth mentioning to the server over $0.50. Service was generally good and friendly.

Delicious lunch and wonderful service. Food presented with chef styled attention to details. The restaurant was beautifully appointed with coastal colors and plentiful seating including a great outside seating.

Excellent food and service! Highly recommend the following dishes : surf and Turf chimichurri, harvest shrimp salad and shrimp scampi. All the dishes were light flavorful and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. Family friendly menu. Clean bathrooms.

This was my 1st time dining there and it was my 40th birthday! I was a party of 4 and my party was running late. While I was waiting, no one acknowledged me , asked if I wanted a drink or an appetizer while I waited. After about 15 mins I asked to move to another table but they ignored that request and sent a different server. She was excellent so I decided not to ruin my night. The food was AWESOME! I had the lobster and shrimp risotto and fried oysters. We order the fried oysters 5 times. My mother had the fried okra which also great. I do plan to return.

We tried Cape Fear Seafood in Surf City for the first time last night for an early Valentine’s dinner and were VERY pleased. Every item we tried was absolutely DELICOUS! My husband had fried oysters (some of the best we have had), rice pilaf and the risotto cakes (amazing). I had the Figure Eight stuffed flounder with rice pilaf and green beans and each bite was wonderful! Great drinks as well! Our server, Brooke, was fantastic and very kind. Looking forward to visiting often!
