Celtic Creamery Surf City

When we showed up there wasn't much of a line and it was moving kind of quick, so I was kind of excited. We are from out of town and by the time we got up to the ice cream, there was a line out the door and we were rushed so hard that I just picked something, my husband was given the wrong cone originally, and he was made to pay before my ice cream was even scooped. It would've been nice to be able to stop and actually see what all they had, but I wasn't given an opportunity. And yeah, it's great that your employees can handle a rush, but it's terrible that they're rushing the customers so much that we don't have time to actually contemplate what we want. I won't waste my time here if we come back to Surf City, but the ice cream is good.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. My family and I visited Surf City in September for a short vacation, and we ended up going to Celtic Creamery three days in a row. The ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was just as impressive. Our orders were taken and prepared quickly every time. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

SOOoooo good! By far the best ice cream we've had in the area. Very high quality and amazing flavor! We would go out of our way to come here instead of other shops (had the peanut butter cup, cookie dough, and sea salt/caramel/honey). They make fresh donuts also so we'll have to try that next time!

Best ice cream I've ever had. Even their more simple flavors like "cookie dough" far exceed your average cookie doughs. The ice cream is soft and creamy while packed with loads of cookie dough! I've been here a few times now too... if you're feeling different, try the "under the sea by bee" flavor! It's caramel and honey on a vanilla based ice cream! Yummy 😋

This is a busy shop, but the line moves quickly, and the staff is very on top of things. There is a solid selection of ice cream flavors (we had birthday cake, cookies and cream, and banana toffee), and you can get a milkshake, cone, waffle cone, cup...all of the usual ice cream-y choices, basically. Prices are what you'd expect, and one scoop in a waffle cone was just the right amount for me. Everyone enjoyed their flavor, which is all that you can ask for!
