Mahons Real BBQ

I just found this place about a month ago and I’m absolutely in love with their BBQ pulled pork sandwich 😋😋😋yum yum yummy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and I intend to try everything on the menu now.. so far BEST BBQ pulled pork around hands down 🤷‍♀️ and my husband LOVES their chicken..🐓 always juicy,fresh and hot 🔥🔥🔥 way to go you guys.. you definitely nailed it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Best pulled pork and mac n cheese! Love their original homemade sauce. Can't wait to come back and try the ribs. Owner and staff are the bomb!

It was just a few hours ago that I saw Mahon's BBQ post a reminder about their free chicken Sunday. Remembering the brisket sandwich, strawberry cake, and banana pudding i had from them earlier this summer, i quickly gave in to the cravings. I opened my GPS to see its a 57 minute drive from Altamonte Springs (23 minutes from the Oakland exit to Groveland seems kinda quick, no?)...ANYWAY I hit the road 🚗💨with an ETA of 7:30, I hoped that was a respectable time as I knew they closed at 8. Unfortunately, there was a car accident prior to the Groveland Publix - (Everyone seemed alright 🙏🏿). However, a single file line with every vehicle trying to skip ahead of you definitely came with a significant delay. I wasn't walking inside Mahons until about 7:46. Don't overlook this hole-in-wall restaurant. Mainly a take BBQ place, it still has limited seating for about 12 to 15 people. The service was excellent and the staff kind, but the best part was the food. Arguably the best BBQ I've ever had. I mean it. The down side was we were just passing through. If I lived locally, I'd be there every week and gaining weight. Seriously, give it a try, but go earlier than 7:00 pm. They where running out of everything. Need I say more. Cheers.
