I had to come on here and just mention how amazing their medium-hot Cajun shrimp and snow crabs were. I have been looking for a fresh seafood boil locally for ages and I finally found this great place. For those who love seafood, this is the place you will definitely have to try, does not disappoint. Definitely exceeded my expectations great boba and prices as well. 🤤
Having family that live in NOLA it was such a treat to find somewhere in Vermont that does really good Cajun style seafood boils! We also tried some dumplings and a noodle dish. Everything was really delicious! The staff were so lovely and welcoming and we can’t wait to go back!
Second time having Magic, first time dinning in. Friendly service. Food comes out relatively quickly. The Cajun boil took a little longer, but well worth the wait. Had spicy tripe, spicy beef, and wood ear salad appetizers. Then for mains had the Dan Dan Noodle, Roast Pork Won Ton Soup, Special Beef soup, and the Cajun boil (snow crab and lobster).
My wife and I dined here recently and it was decidedly a mixed bag (which really disappointed me, because I wanted to love it). On the plus side, the steamed dumplings were delicious and the dandan noodles were spicy and warming on a cold night. This was offset by some of the blandest peanut noodles I've ever encountered (even a Minnesotan would call them mild), which were basically overcooked vermicelli swimming in a thin, watery peanut broth. No flavor to speak of, either. And the service was almost completely absent. Once we had been seated and served, nobody came back to check on us, and when we went up to the counter to pay the bill, we had to stand there and wait for someone to look up from their phone and notice us. I would return for the dumplings, but that's about it, and then
Came in and my food was delicious (I got the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup), but my roommate’s fried rice was wayyy too salty. On top of that, we both got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and neither of us got any milk in it 💀 Came completely dark brown and wayyy too sweet! We tried to ask for milk and instead got a splash of Dunkin Creamer lol. Overall, maybe don’t get the overpriced boba and just settle on food.
