Maggie Valley Sandwich Shop

My husband got the fried bologna sandwich and raved about it! He’s still talking about it. I got the harvest carver and it was good too. The apple butter was a little much. The pimento cheese skillet was delicious! The service was very sporadic, either everyone was waiting on you or no one was waiting on you. There’s a ton of sandwiches on the menu I would like to try when we come back into town!

Lovely gem in MV. The meatball sub is delicious along with all of the other sandwiches I’ve tried. The owners and staff are so kind as well. Great spot to grab lunch heading toward the Blue Ridge!

Just finished up a lunch here and I'll definitely be back. The place was dying down as I came in about a half hour before close (unknowingly) but the hostess still directed me to a table. I decided upon the Maggie's Chicken Stacker which turned out to be one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Each component shown through beautifully, no one overwhelming another. The vibes were immaculate. Small town, diner, sandwich shop, low-key, etc. MVSS hits the nail every time!

Turkey Ruben was great. Overall it’s a nice place to stop for a wide variety of delicious sandwiches.

Asked what was their best sub and they recommended the Italian. Bread was great,but the sandwich was absolutely drenched in cheap Italian dressing. Every bite another gallon of dressing would spee out. I also ordered a side salad for my side and 20% of the lettuce had black edges. Same lettuce in the sandwich. If quality was not overlooked might have been a different story.
