What could be better than food on the Chesapeake Bay area? Eating food on the bay and taking in the breeze and bay atmosphere. It was quite amazing. The server was nice and it was hard to make choices but going Gordon Ramsey's visits, you have to check it out! For an appetizer, I chose the pita and crab dip. You have to go for what the Chesapeake known for, the old bay seasoning and crab. I also had the Salmon with herbs, lemon drizzle, along witn red potatoes mash and small Caesar salad. My friend had a double cheese burger with French cut fries with old bay seasoning. I had a great time. The food looked good and the food tasted amazing. I definitely will be coming back to try something different. I might also have to come back for the desert next time.

8/25/25 Let’s talk about the spontaneous trip to MacGergor’s a few months after Gordon left. My friend and I were famished so we decided to pop in a little after they opened. You choose in outdoor seating and the vibe was just right with the breeze off the water. Good lighting and music the bar looks well stocked. Jackie our server was soo great and attentive. We started with mocktails(coconut mojito, blackberry lime lemonade) they both hit. Next calamari a tad salty still liked them the jalapeños gave it a nice touch. I choose the rock fish tacos as my entree. They were good the mango salsa pulled it together on the warm corn tortillas. The side was chips and salsa from what tasted like Tostitos. But what out shined it all you ask……? The blueberry pie of course, it was absolutely perfect

My husband had flounder for his meal, and absolutely loved it! I had the soup du jour, and it was phenomenal. Service is 5 star, we needed sauces and drink refills and the staff was quick to respond. The restaurant is waterside and is uplifting, despite the rain that day. If you like quality seafood, visit MacGregors. We live far away but plan to visit again!

Never ate here while we lived nearby for 20+ years, excellent crab cakes and MD friendship with staff and patrons!

Love the bacon Brie fig jam burger and a cold brew. Onion rings you can’t go wrong with your burger. But if you’re not a local you won’t have a warm fuzzy at the bar maybe try the dining hall.
