I happened on this restaurant while me and around Farmville kind of lost. It looked interesting, and I was not disappointed. It was a little odd because you go to one building for seating, and they take you to the other building. Looks like restaurant seating in both. The employees were all very nice, friendly and helpful. I saw other reviews that said the sandwiches were huge, and they were not lying. I had to take half of mine home. I would definitely eat here again when I'm in town.
I don’t feel like they care about what is coming out of the kitchen. Not good. Slow service. Apps, salad and entrees came out all at once and 45 mins after order placed. They burned my sandwich bread and tried to reuse it by turning the burnt side in so you couldn’t see it amongst several other items that were not good. They did acknowledge the slow service and bad food and took it off the bill. There is just no standard s for quality food at this restaurant.
What's not to love about this place: generous portions; good service; and a lively atmosphere. We've been to a few Macados and continue to come back because of their variety and reasonable prices. I highly recommend the Brooklyn Bridge!
This was our first time going there. The food was absolutely delicious the service was great too. The price is weren't too bad either.
What happened to my favorite Macado’s? :( They didn’t have fries today and served tater tots instead—which not only looked unappetizing but didn’t taste good either. My daughter even said the tater tots at her school taste better (and that’s not a compliment). The flatbread pizza was soggy, and the marinara sauce on it was cold. I’m honestly not sure if we should give it another try or just give up on Macado’s altogether.
