The red velvet is not too sweet which is a plus since red velvet has a tendency to be overly sweet at times. The cake is best enjoyed at room temp as advised. The plastic container is comes in handy when you want to eat as you go, which I did the entire day. Lydia is a very sweet person who takes pride in her baked goods. Can't wait to try more fruit flavors as well! Her dogs are everything--you will see at the shop from time to time.

We had no idea what our cake would look like but put full trust in her capabilities. She completely blew us away. Lydia did our wedding cake last year and it was divine! If you book with her she also does an anniversary cake for you a year later. Our flavors were marble cake with oreo buttercream and chocolate with raspberry filling. So delicious!! And everything else she has in store rocks too-cookies, brownies, you name it, Lydia does it deliciously!!

Working with Lydia was the perfect choice for our showstopper wedding cake. We found her at a wedding expo in Seattle and loved her samples. She has an impressive variety of cake and icing flavors. Lydia is also a gifted artist whose medium is cake. We told her we wanted a spectacular peacock wedding cake and let her design whatever she wanted. She created a beautiful cake that was unique inside and out. It was so much fun to cut into our confetti and Oreo buttercream cake!

I can't begin to express how impressed I am at how my wedding cake and desserts turned out. I first ran into Lydia at the Wedding convention in Seattle in Jan '23 and '24. I finally bit the bullet and decided to hire her because her treats were incredibly delicious. Once the cake was delivered to my hotel the day of the wedding, I was completely shocked at how it turned out. It was much bigger than I expected and Lydia was able to duplicate an exact picture that I sent her through email. If you even get the chance to try her stuff, I highly recommend. Her cake is tasty and moist, it almost melts in your mouth. She is also very affordable! YOU get bang for your buck!! Will definitely be ordering again for future parties!
