Luna’s Pizzeria & Italian Grill

My parents suggested we try Luna's. My family and I were hooked after the first visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are well-maintained. The menu has a great variety of selections and the food is very tasty! We sat down, ordered drinks, and the waitress dropped off fresh bread and a plate of olive oil. The olive oil also had Luna's spelled out in a balsamic drizzle. There's nothing like fresh bread and EVOO! We ordered the following: Calamari Fritti: The calamari was cooked well. It was very crunchy and tender. It came with a side of marinara. I do feel the mariana they use is a little ho-hum and bland. But, let’s be honest, you’re not ordering calamari for the marinara. Let me first start by saying this is my 3rd visit over the last several months. I try to visit a place a few times before I make a review. Today’s visit has been the best so far. Each time I’ve ordered pizza slices and every time it’s been good, but this time was the absolute best. Might partly be due the type of slices I’ve gotten This time I got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of the tomato pie. The pepperoni had a nice crispness to it while still having a bit of a slight soft chew. Flavor from the sauce, cheese and pepperoni had an excellent balance with the pepperoni being nice and bold The tomato pie was the real winner here. The best I’ve had in a very long time. Luna’s was able to accommodate a last minute reservation for 30 of us and did an absolutely fantastic job! Theresa was our host/waitress for the night and was amazing!!! The food was delicious, drinks were flowing, all of our needs were met timely and with a smile on her face! We were on the porch, comfortable and warm in this very cold weather. All staff were really nice, professional, and fun to engage with; especially Theresa and Hayley. It was a perfect night for a group of friends to get together from the tristate area for a great time! Thank you to Luna’s and Theresa for making our night and warming our belly’s! We will be back without question!

Pretty good place and the service and food was great. The coke and lemonade wasn't great, as the coke was lacking carbonation and the lemonade didn't taste great. Sadly, the root beer ran out of syrup. The penne arrabiata had great taste and spice. You can adjust the level by request, and I went with an 8 of 10 and that was plenty of heat. I opted to add meatballs for $4 but only got 2, would have been happier with 3, which is also more pleasing to the eye. The cavatelli alla campagnola was also good, but not a huge fan of the small diced sausage. Not a great flavor to the sausage. The portion sizes to the pasta are decent.
