Luna Blu

We go to Luna Blu mostly for its a great outdoor patio with views of Tiburon harbor, Angel island and Belvedere. The calamari appetizer was fresh and excellent. The portobello panini was "meaty" and very tasty thanks to its garnishes (mozzarella, tomato and basil). It came with a nice side salad. We were disappointed by their cioppino. The seafood was simmering in a pasta sauce basically. But there are plenty of good options on the menu. And come for the outdoor patio.

Their meatballs are awesome! We had plates which were very good and others so so. Same with drinks. But I think I'm give another try. The service is very good though! The atmosphere and the view are incredible! You can pace down after a busy day and relax with a good wine and company. You'll have everything you need!

Such an AMAZING place. They have incredible gluten free options as well. One of my favorite restaurants ever. Cannot recommend it more! My daughter Pixxie had her first big girl meal here and LOVED it!

Luna Blu is one of our favorite restaurants in Tiburon and a perfect spot for special occasions. We’ve been coming here for over seven years, especially for birthdays. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the service is excellent — our recent visit with manager Maya and server Tony was wonderful. The only downside was very poor cellular reception and no internet inside the restaurant, which made it difficult to share photos or stay connected. Otherwise, a fantastic experience and highly recommended.

Meatballs good. Everything else disgusting. We stopped in without reservations and were seated immediately outside, as requested, but at a table directly next to a door that was constantly opening and closing. Not ideal, but we accepted it. My partner ordered a Sprite that tasted off and switched to a Coke, which was fine. I ordered a spicy margarita that was extremely bitter. I asked for a regular margarita instead, assuming the spice was the issue, but the second drink was also very bitter—likely the mix. I didn’t send it back again, and the server never followed up. When ordering, we asked for recommendations. The server said everything was good or it wouldn’t be on the menu, and when asked to choose between two dishes, replied, “You tell me.” We ordered the crab pasta and meatballs.
