Lucy in the Rye

Welcoming atmosphere. Good food and good portions for the price. We have been with just 2 people and a large group and they handled both easily. We’ve been for lunch and breakfast and highly recommend the lunch!

My boyfriend and I came to sylva for a weekend away and our first restaurant we went to was Lucy in the Rye. We went for breakfast and I couldnt have been happier with our choice. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was wonderful. We didn't have to wait for a table either. I had the corned beef hash and it was excellent and my boyfriend had the smothered fried chicken. He said the chicken was perfect and delicious. I stole the fried onions from him because he doesn't like onions. They were so flavorful, I loved them. Overall would recommend.

Family friendly experience where every thing ordered tastes hand made with love and care. The staff both visits were amazing and attentive. I suggest the smothered fried chicken and quiche.

I recently had a really nice breakfast at Lucy In The Rye. Service was quick, efficient and attentive. I opted for a basic bacon & eggs breakfast with a half order of biscuits and gravy (my last meal before sleeping in the woods for four days😂). I’ll gladly return to Lucy the next time I find myself in Sylva!

I would highly recommend Lucy in the Rye! EVERYTHING we had was fantastic as was our server! I have had brunch in SO many different cities and places, I have to say that this place is right at the top!!!
