What a surprise this place was ❤️🔥🤌 I Took my fiance here for our first Valentines day and our first time here to The Lucky Rooster 🐓 🍀 💝 The atmosphere wasn’t what we expected for the food and hospitality we received. It was very welcoming and simple ,but the food was like you were at a real Italian restaurant 🍝 🤌 We had risotto, wagyu and sirloin along with a hazelnut tart dessert that was utterly unbelievable! The espresso martini was one of the best I’ve ever had ☕️ 🍸 The wine was delicious as well 🍷 We live quite a hike from this location and it was a reservation I made not too far from an event we were attending at the Gilmore Car Museum which was a half hour or so from The Lucky Rooster. We will 100% come here again as we were so taken back by our wonderful server, friendly gu
The food was great, our server was excellent, and it was overall a wonderful experience. The menus are on tablets, and if you tap on the name of the dish, it opens up a window with the price, a photo, and a description. If I remember correctly, it also had recommended wine pairings for some of them. Pretty neat! We were seated right by the fireplace and I thought it was very cozy. I took some quick photos of our food, but didn't think of it soon enough for some of it-- for example, the baked brie with cherry compote (amazing) was gone before I thought of it, unfortunately. The pickle dip picture is from when it was almost gone. The pasta with the chicken cutlet was great, I loved the texture and flavor, and the slightly spicy vodka sauce went really well with it. Definitely get the pea
We were really looking forward to dinner at Lucky Rooster after having had a delicious lunch there a few months ago. To say it was disappointing was an understatement. The salad was fine, but the burger was terrible. We asked for it medium, and it came out burned and overcooked. It was also very small in size, especially compared to both the picture in the menu as well as other burgers we saw come out. We pointed this out to our waitress who acknowledged that the burger was tiny and overcooked, but she then shrugged and walked away. Any other restaurant we’ve ever gone to would have offered to remake the meal, instead we were shrugged off and left to pay for a meal we essentially didn’t order. We were very much looking forward to dinner, and we understand that kitchens aren’t perfect. The
Had a small team dinner on a Tuesday night. Place was steady due to company parties. Our server Josie was great and didn't miss a beat. The team enjoyed their food. I arrived late so I got my food to go. However, I did order the crab and corn chowder to eat at the table. The soup was awesome. Some of the best I have had. It was creamy and made with real crabmeat. I ordered two cups becuase it was so good. My team ordered the chicken alfredo and the chicken parmesan. I ordered the 6oz Filet Mignon Served with Arancini Crab Cakes, Ham wrapped asparagus and Tarragon Sauce to go. It was good. They did not give me the steak sauce I requested but I survived. The ham wrapped asparagus was different but tasty and so were the crab cakes. I would definitely return to this restaurant. A definite go
From beginning to end, everything about this experience was fantastic. It was our first time there, and multiple people made sure to make the experience memorable. Because it was our first time, we got to try A couple things just to get acquainted with them because they were recommendations from our server. Please do not skip the potato leek soup! Also, the service was phenomenal. Our server gave us really great suggestions, like the house salad with the homemade dressing. Get out of town! Also a fantastic recommendation. The food itself was outstanding and extremely memorable. Literally everything we tried we raved about. The lasagna was easily three servings for a normal person, and no one should skip the Marsala Waygu pasta. WOW. My only regret is that I won't be back in town anytime so
