Lucile’s is hands-down one of the best spots on the front range for New Orleans–style comfort food. Everything I had was outstanding. I ordered the Cajun omelette, and it was perfection — fluffy eggs packed with spicy Cajun sausage and bold, savory flavor. Every bite was rich, satisfying, and deeply comforting. The biscuit deserves its own shout-out: enormous, perfectly baked, and paired with gravy that was creamy, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy. It was so good I honestly could’ve made a meal out of just that. The only real “complaint” is how popular this place is — it fills up fast. The kitchen must have been completely made up of people’s grandmamas, the food was that delicious! I felt like I was right at home. I was only in Ft. Collins for the weekend but I went to Lucille’s TWICE. I got the Cajun Breakfast and Pain Perdu. It’s been the best breakfast I’ve had in a while. I swear I dream about it sometimes. Can’t wait to come back!

Lucile’s is a creole dream nestled in the heart of Fort Collins. The vibe is family home, the service is prompt and super warm, and the kitchen is on top of their game. The dishes are classic and delicious, without any fussiness, and the portion sizes are generous! Never ending coffee refills during breakfast service never hurts, either. The dining room is both ample and cozy at the same time. If you’ve ever dined in New Orleans then you will feel right at home. And I would never have guessed after my first visit that there are several locations throughout Colorado. Highly recommended.

A Cozy Slice of the Bayou in Fort Collins and more Tucked into a charming little corner of Fort Collins, Lucile’s Creole Café feels less like a restaurant and more like a welcoming home. This place is amazing! The food is really good, and the beignets are a must have!! I had a praline waffle which was really sweet but a huge portion size and very filling. The fresh fruit on top was my favorite addition! The syrup they give you is REAL maple which is my favorite. I also got a side of bacon which was cooked really well for my liking, the bacon was a bit pricey. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice which is absolutely delicious, and in my opinion it is fairly priced. The service staff was very friendly and I felt the server did a great job tending to us! Overall this place is great and a must try in Fort Collins.
