This hidden gem will not be kept secret by me☺️ The overall quality of service was spot on. The food that I received was very delicious and well seasoned. If you’re a fan of the WHOLE wing, this place is that💯 The sweet tea was was nice as I didn’t have to check my blood sugar after drinking it (even had two refills)🤗 I am looking forward to my next visit so that I can try their sweet treats.

Great food and even better service when you visit. Have been a few times, try something different each time, and have loved everything we’ve tried so far! Included pics of food and location! Excuse the Cajun Salmon one, someone couldn’t help but dig right in. Lol! Cherry on top is that it’s family owned, and the smiles greeting us are contagious.

Now, this is a diamond in the rough: a black-owned business. Y'all gotta come to this place and experience quality soul food. There will now be a wait, but it’s well worth it. Hands down, the cornbread had my heart at first sight ordered some to go. The catfish is 🔥, and the sides are on time. The desserts are on point, and overall, a chill new vibe. My new fav local soul food spot.

What a great find! The food here was amazing, and the portions were huge. This is one of those meals that you will find yourself thinking about long after you've left the resturant. Easily the best soul food in AZ, and well worth the drive over no matter what part of the valley you're from. This place is family-owned and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Warm service, fresh food made to order, and so many amazing dishes to choose from. We can't wait to come back!

If you are looking for authentic southern comfort, look no further, Lovey's Essence hits the spot. Although only open for 6 short weeks, they cook like they have been a neighborhood staple for decades. We tried several items on the menu: Ribs : Incredibly meaty and truly fall off the bone tender. Fried Chicken: Perfectly seasoned with a satisfying crunch - most importantly- not greasy. The Sides: The Mac and Cheese is wonderfully cheesy, and the sweet potatoes are stand out with a perfect touch of cinnamon. They even offer deviled eggs which were absolutely delicious. The show stopper was the cornbread muffin. It was baked with a delicate, slightly sweet crust, rich with a buttery top. One of the best I've had.
