8-Bit Aleworks

Being a beer lover and video gamer I had to check this place out. They play music from video games to really set the atmosphere. Staff and clientele are quirky, but friendly as you’d expect. Their beers were delightful and I’d come back again.

Fantastic brewery with awesome homage to retro games and awesome beers to match. Highly recommend to old school gamers and beer enthusiasts alike as a must visit!

Very neat little taproom. Very nerd friendly. Lovely couple running the bar when I was there. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the beers they are serving, brewed on-site! Definitely a nice little place to stop in and have a drink!

If you want a spot to play games, enjoy a nostalgic setting and enjoy some craft beer - this place is definitely a hidden gem. The parking is ample, plenty of spots to choose from. The location is a bunch of office buildings that are rented out, so that throws you off a little bit. The setting was fun and there's a game for everyone. I also appreciated that the owner asked ADA service dog related questions!

The only bad thing about this brewery is that it’s not smack in the middle of a community where people can walk there every night. Novel and delicious beers by a brewer with creativity that is only curbed by making beers that actually taste good. He has physically put entire red velvet cakes into a brew, chocolate pudding with the best chub ever (?), and many more, but the beers only get tapped if they pass a stringent taste test. The atmosphere is novel; Nintendo eight bit themed, and fun with a whole host of regulars because the beer is that good. If you find yourself in the Phoenix metro. This is a Brewery worth making it out to.
