Loui Boil just opened in Edgewater and it’s already a hit. If you love bold, spicy Cajun seafood, this is your spot. Everything comes tossed in their signature house-made Cajun sauce and you can really taste the flavor in every bite. We ordered a seafood boil with a mix of crab legs and shrimp, chose our spice level, and added sides like corn, potatoes, and sausage. The portions were generous and perfectly cooked — juicy, saucy, and packed with heat (but you can go mild if that’s your thing). They’re running a great soft opening special during the week — the more pounds you order, the more corn and potatoes you get, and if you order four pounds you even get a whole lobster. Such a good deal. It’s also BYOB, which makes it even better for a fun night out. They have private party rooms to
So, so good! Our 9-year-old couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was — he was even dancing because he loved it so much :) The staff were super friendly, and we had an amazing dinner. We’ll definitely be back!
It was my first time trying since they changed it to a seafood boil and it was absolutely delicious. The seafood was so fresh, and the flavors were perfect even for Koreans. The dessert was also amazing, and both the noodles and fried rice were outstanding. The owner and staff were very kind and welcoming. I thought parking might be difficult, but it turned out to be smooth and without any inconvenience. I really liked that we could adjust the spice level, it was great for people like me who can’t eat spicy food. Having options to choose from was a big plus. The place was clean and cozy, and I definitely want to come back again!
I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered garlic noodles on the side, but they were missing from my order. I called to request a refund and was told I would receive a call back — which never happened. I had to call again about 10 minutes later, and only then was I told they would refund me. Instead of refunding the correct amount ($7.99 + tax), they sent me $7.50 via Zelle. I ordered directly through their website and assumed they would simply cancel and refund the missing item properly, but that wasn’t the case. I even took a photo in the middle of dinner because I initially thought the refund request would be easily resolved. When it became clear that it wasn’t, I kept the photo as proof in case I needed to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I have honestly never experi
Recently visited here with my husband and 2 year old. The staff was very friendly and service was good. It was a little slow at the start but nothing drastic. Restaurant was clean and spacious. You didn’t feel like other patrons were on top of you considering it was pretty empty. The food was decent. We ordered shrimp , shrimp fried rice , kids chicken tenders and snow crab. Fried rice was really good , and the snow crab. My daughter really enjoyed her chicken tenders but i was quite shocked a $9 kids meal came with no fries. Bringing out just chicken threw me off lol. The shrimp was our least favorite and may be the reason we won’t return. They were incredibly mushy. Like extremely overcooked and had no business being served to customers. It was quite inedible and i couldn’t even finish
