Los Potrillos Taqueria

Guacamole was fresh made, tortilla chips were HOT. Both awesome for $4. Enchiladas were huge, as in 5 to 6 per order, only $9. All food was made to order. Authentic Mexican. In Culpepper, go here. Very Taqueria atmosphere. Very casual. Really friendly service.

The food here is amazing. It’s just a little place in a strip mall, order at the counter, pay there, and they’ll bring you your food. If you need anything, you need to go back up to the counter and ask for it, and you buss your table when you’re done. There’s a salsa/condiments bar. It’s no frills, but the food here is cheap, delicious, and authentic. We’re steadily working our way through the menu. Best chilaquiles I’ve had outside of Mexico. Get there early, because it fills up fast.

We went to Los Potrillos after hearing about it from locals. Wide variety on the menu. Don't let the location or inside scare you away. Greeted and served by young lady at the counter. She was helpful with descriptions and menu you choices. We had the Gringa, Enchiladas Verde and a Gordita. You will not walk out hungry.

‼️‼️🌮The NEW and BEST taco spot in Culpeper 🌮‼️‼️ As your self proclaimed hype detective I had to go check out what all the buzz was about and let me tell you these tacos live up to the hype!!! The owner of this new taco spot are the same owners of the famous La Jharochita from Manassas so if you know, you know. These tacos do not come to play!! I came on grand opening day and they had all sorts of festivities like a dj, mariachi, face painting, clown with coco melon, skai , and even a moon bounce! The tacos were on special for 9$ you get three tacos and a soda. We got the Carne Asada and the Al pastor. They even had a salsa bar which put it levels above any other taco spots here. The food was phenomenal. Probably the best chorizo I’ve ever eaten and the pastor was on par with anything I’ve had in Mexico. The only reason I’ve given four stars is the absurd wait for a plate of tacos and quesadilla. Stopped here on our way home kind thinking it would be a quick stop, and it was anything but. Would still do it again, but expect a 20-30 minute wait
