Walked in here March 19,2025... i know this place for many years... their bread and food is good and they look to be clean which is important to me, but in the front door they advertise a breakfast mini calentado, which is beans and rice mixed with scrabled eggs for $7.99. So as i go to pay the lady tells me $14... i told her it says $7.99 at the door, she was quick to lecture me that i had to specify that i wanted the "mini" ... and she made it seem like it was a tiny serving to defer me from buying it...she has a very bad attitude.. theres plenty of Colombian bakeries around...i might have to go to the next block over next time! Sad thing is Colombian ladies are so sweet, and i know this ladys mom, and she is so sweet when shes there...

This is my second time here I stop here around 6:30 am and I bought for croissant with cheese but this bread is OLD and this is my second time they give it to me OLD bread and the coffee is not good flavor

The rating is purely based on my food experience and should by no means deter reader from trying this place out. This was my first time trying out this place and probably my last. I got my usual dish that I get when I go to a Spanish restaurant. It came out to be a little over $17 (includes everything in the picture: beans, meat and platter). A little pricer than some other places I've tried. This the first time either my body rejected the food or I got instant food poisoning from Spanish food and I've consumed Spanish food many times prior so I wasn't foreign to the type of spices or meats. Everything was pretty standard of a typical meat platter except the beans soup which tasted sour and spicy...that might have caused my demise. The Food is good and fresh. The service sucks big time. The lady up front in the mornings she always be having an attitude. It is very uncomfortable and unpleasant to be in her presence. She is rude, talks back and always with a grumpy face. If she hates her job that bad, why can't she just quit! Know and learn how to treat your customers!

Bakery is FANTASTIC! Don’t miss the Pandebono (cheese bread melts in your mouth), also had the Colombian breakfast with natural blackberry juice. Highly recommended if you’re in Queens!
