Los Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant | Vancouver

I waant pleased w the food, it was all the same stuff just a little different. The water cup was dirty had to get a new cup. The salsa is just pico degio salsa. There was a big menu but it was all the same stuff just a little different. One is chicken and one is beef. I asked about the spicy shredded beef is that hot or did u add something to it to be hot. She looked at me werid, and said no not spicy just spices. But it says spicy on the menu and when I got it. I didnt taste any flavor in it. It was jist bland. I wouldnt go there again. The place is fine they seemed nice but not worth going again. It felt like I was eating at a taco truck then a sit down place. And I feel like the truck would have more options and flavor then this place

I've been to Los Jalapeños many times, but this time the quality of the meal was not up to what I remember. Having said all that, my meal was fine and the bean dip is always a highlight. I had an asada burrito.

Do not order the Camerones de a Jo! Says its sautéed in garlic, butter and spices. It comes with a small bowl of what I assume is their garlic butter which has no taste or any signs of garlic. It looked and tasted like some kind of grease collected from frying all their tortilla chips. Very disappointed! Shrimp was decent but no flavor either. $21.50 is a lot for tasteless Mexican food! Also want to add because everyone in my group ordered a soda, & I ordered a water. I never got my glass of water. I decided to see if my waiter would even notice that I didnt have a drink at all. She never noticed at all through the night, but notices she can refill everyone's else's drink. Mind you, its three of us. Never coming back. Just be ready for tasteless food.

Small hole in the wall place. We got the appetizer plate and it was plenty for the two of us. Ask for extra of the salsa as it is great with chunks of onions and not to spicy. We had the traditional margaritas and you could actually taste the tequila! I would return when in the area.

Best Chili Verde so far! Chips were warm, salsa was excellent. My new go to place for good Mexican food.
