Los Amigos Méxican Restaurant

It’s crazy that I haven’t done a review for this place. I have been going here religiously for years. I was sad to see Suzies go from here but this was a reasonable substitution. I have been here countless times because it’s so good and so close to where I was living at the time. It never fails to satisfy. I really like the Popeye and any of the quesadilla options. But the fajitas are also very good and the chips just taste the best compared to other restaurants in the area. Maybe I’m wrong but it just has a certain taste that I really like. Sometimes I’ll grab a jarritos on the way out to top off that Mexican meal. The bar is really inviting and I’ll eat here by myself a bunch when I am just wanting good food but want to be left alone. Me & my wife get stuck with the same waiter that does not want to come back & check on you for refills or anything. The only time he comes back is for the bill. That place has went downhill since the previous waiters & waitresses left. Better off going to kanawha city, service is a lot better.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is definitely the place to go! Our group was pleased with the service, our waiter took our drink orders quickly, those who got margaritas said they were outstanding and recommended getting the pitchers, the servings were large and the food delicious!

Lunch fajitas very good. Nachos aplenty! All great.

Went there today, had to wait 15 min for my to go order. The guy that first approached me asked me what I was there for I told him, he went in the back and came out asked meto wait 2 min I said okay. He walked by me 10 times. It wasn't until another worker asked me and I told him I had a to go order he went straight in the back and bought out my food. Then I get home and my order wasn't right.. this isn't the first time my order has been wrong. I won't be returning.
