Must try Suman soda House made naan Carolina gold rice grit cake Kale salad all vegetarian option Crispy chicken thighs you can’t go wrong with Heritage pork dumpling wow amazing Lighter bento box we adored also vegetarian All dessert were great love the cookie with the milk so simple but so yummy We had the most incredible experience at Lola’s in SoHo celebrating our son’s 15th birthday, and it truly could not have been a more perfect dinner. Not only was the food exceptional, but we actually got to meet Suzanne — the chef and owner! I had seen her on Good Morning America, so meeting her in person made the night even more memorable. You can immediately feel her passion and intention behind everything she creates. What makes it even more meaningful is the story behind the name. Suzanne na

I could write a book about how much we enjoyed our dinner at Lola's for my 30th birthday... it was pure excellence, dedication and hospitality all wrapped up in one fabulous meal! And what a unique concept too -- Filipino and Southern flavors married together in the most elegant fashion with additional unexpected touches along the way. We had an early reservation at 5 before a Broadway show, so we were some of the first ones to arrive for dinner service (but the cozy space filled up within minutes and was pleasantly buzzy the whole time we were there). They seated us right away at our spot in the back at the chef's table/kitchen bar -- I cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed that experience... watching the team prepare each dish with so much skill and attention to detail was like wa

I absolutely love Lola’s! This vibrant NoMad hotspot never disappoints. The service is exceptional, and the food is consistently outstanding. Some must-try dishes include the Fried Fish Lettuce Wraps, the Short Rib & Shiitake Dumplings, and the Crispy Chicken Thighs - each one packed with incredible flavor.

A super cute restaurant with amazing food! We enjoyed every single dish we tried. The homemade naan was so good, served with a carrot masala chutney that you never want to end. The beet and jicama salad was incredible, I still can’t figure out how they made that dressing so juicy and flavorful! The fried fish lettuce wraps were delicious too, though a bit tricky to handle. The gold rice grit cake was absolutely tasty, my favorite dish of the night (no surprise, since I’m a huge cabbage fan!). My partner really enjoyed his crispy chicken thighs, though he’d have preferred breasts. Dessert, the Black Forest cake, was also wonderful; the sesame brittles added such an interesting touch, and the tea paired perfectly with it.

Service was excellent. Told my server (Ben? I believe—I am terrible at names!) I had a broadway show to get to and he took down when I needed to leave and made sure everything ran smoothly and got my check to me quickly. Sat at the kitchen counter which was nice as a single diner. The naan and dip were the highlight of the meal but the fried tile fish lettuce wraps were also SO tender and the texture was perfect. A little messy (but lettuce wraps usually are). Chocolate pudding cake nice option for a chocolate lover and especially loved the black sesame crunch on top. There were so many good looking dishes but as a single diner I was limited on how many I could reasonably order, so I would say if you are here by yourself, either come VERY hungry or make sure you can take home leftovers so
