Logan Square Starbucks

Yesterday I ordered a cinnamon dolce latte. The batista behind the counter was very bizarre. He refused to talk with me and after I got my drink I noticed a strange after taste. I didn't think much of it and my mom and I split my drink. After we drank it we both got very sick. This has never happened before. I'll never go to this Starbucks again. I honestly wish I saved the cup so I could've had it tested.

This Starbucks is completely new so I do NOT want to be too harsh. The plus side is its very convient and clean as well. However, theres a few downsides. Given that the Starbucks is new there are several new employees who clearly have never worked at a Starbucks. This isn't that big of an issue, but becomes problematic if they have no expierence being a barista let alone working in a coffee shop in general. The young girl who was clearly in training did not know how to make a iced latte. Which anyone can do considering its just brewed espresso with cold milk. Unfortunately it seemed the girl who was training her was also apparently new and had absolutely no clue how to make one either because she told her trainee to steam the milk which well was idiotic. Staff is welcoming and polite but coffee could be better.
