Free Library of New Hope

This is long overdue - my childhood library has undergone such a glow up! The children's "basement" is thoughtfully designed with multiple separate play spaces, a train table, hands-on activities, blocks, something for all ages. It's been low traffic the times we've come, if anyone is looking for a little less sensory overload, it's a worth the drive. There is an outside children's play space as well (bring bug spray) with a table to rest and fuel. Also check out the children's programs. The children's librarian Louise is a gem thank you Louise!

This is my fav library of all time. My kids love it the employees are incredible they have so many wonderful free classes and resources for kids and adults. And last time we went they gave us two houseplants for free to take home!

Small library but lots to offer. All the librarians that have helped me are full of knowledge and great suggestions. You can order items from other libraries and they usually arrive for pickup the following Wednesday. You can check out free passes to local museums. The building is a little challenging if you are handicap but the librarian is happy to help you. There is a small elevator that goes up to the upper level but not to the bottom floor, no automatic front door and some of the sidewalks in the area are uneven. There is free parking on the street. The building is beautiful and very comfortable to sit and read.

While visiting New Hope, I stopped in the library on Saturday afternoon. The librarian was wonderful! She gave me a tour of the whole place. There a few George Nakashima pieces and a William Lathrop portrait of the very first Librarian This is a very nice community library full of life and charm

Situated in a historic church building, this Small & cozy branch is part of the large Bucks County free library system. You can get anything you want.
