Service was amazing and prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. I ordered the mahi-mahi tacos. The fish was cooked perfectly, but overall the dish could’ve used a little more flavor. I also didn’t realize the tortilla was fried, which made it a bit greasier than I prefer. Maybe it wasn’t fried but the menu said soft, and it had a little crispness (or dryness) on the edges. It was okay, just probably not something I’d order again. One person in our party had the burger and said it was great. Another had the salmon salad, which was also good. We started with the bread service and baked brie. Local Flavor is one of our top stops for food/drink when we visit Eureka Springs, which we do regularly. During the colder season, general paid parking is easy and plentiful but during the peak tourist season, parking options fill very quickly. We usually sit outdoors in their patio seating that overlooks the roadway because we enjoy watching all the people happenings down below but on this occasion, the temperature was too cool for that so we were seated inside at a cozy two top table looking outside to a dimly lit rockwall. We enjoyed the romantic and intimate atmosphere, although that’s not why we chose Local Flavor. As others have commented, our server was very engaging, welcoming and service-oriented. Great food and service in a fun location. I’ve loved everything I have ordered here. Today I went for lunch and had the Quiche/Salad special. Very good! Our group of 9 shared Cheesecake and Chocolate Lavendar Cream Brûlée after. Both were outstanding! Highly recommend.

Everything we ate was delicious and creative except for our basic pre-entree salads which were okay. But the garlic parmesan salad dressing was tasty! We recommend the bread service as an appetizer. We took a loaf to go to eat the next morning. My vegetarian spouse couldn’t stop raving about the coconut curry tempeh plate. I ordered the chicken gorgonzola pasta dish. I was worried it would be average and excited when it was not. Both entrees were well portioned. If you have room for dessert, order the fudge brownie. Our waitress Sabrina was attentive and made a list of recommendations for us to visit while in town. Local Flavor Cafe had a 45 minute wait for us to be seated as it was one of the only restaurants open in the evening before NYE. We walked next door to Amigos for a beer.

Local Flavor is a top notch restaurant, and earns it's place as one of my favorite restaurants. I honestly didn't find anything for a negative. The service was fantastic both times and all of my meals were superb. They have easily one of the best steaks I've ever eaten and great bartender.
