Benton Place Inn

The host Maria was great at communication. Any text message I sent was immediately responded via a phone call. She allowed us to check in early. I got to meet Laci the housekeeper who was so friendly and offered to assist in anyway needed. The room was very comfortable a cozy fireplace, which I did use and I loved it. There was also a walk up patio area where you could sit and look at the view. It had a microwave and a fridge a huge Jacuzzi tub. The decor was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and so was the pillows also had a window heat and air unit which provided both heat for my night and air for the day when I wasn’t using the fireplace. It was a perfect location right at the beginning of Spring Street amongst the shops about a block behind spring. There was also some paid parking

I’m giving this inn a 3-star review because it was very obvious that the owners do not know the property condition. I spoke to the owner several times and she was extremely nice and helpful. However, even though my particular room was very nice, my sister and her husband stayed in another room that was awful. It was dirty, the balcony was unusable, the sidewalks and stairwells to the second floor were downright dangerous with broken tiles and moss on them. However, property was in a very ideal location downtown and was walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. I forgot a dress in the room and the caretaker told me several times she would mail it to me. I told her I knew it was my fault and that she was under no obligation to do it, but she strung me along for over a month and nev

We have been staying at the Benton place for 25 years as our favorite B&B. |Rebecca made your stay extra special with mimosas in the fridge, cute pastries in the morning and beautiful accommodations inside as well as outside.Under new ownership, the grounds were very unkept. The room was clean, but the sheets had a bleach spots, the jets in the tub did not work, the overhead ceiling fan didn’t work. The leaves and debris on and off the back deck looked like they had been there over a year. An old window air conditioner sat in a box on our back deck. Photos attached. No one came in to make your bed each day. I think they still do this at Motel 6! There were no mimosas, no pastries, we had to take out our own trash after three days, ask for trash bags, toilet paper, creamer. For $170 a nigh

This cute place is in the BEST location! Walkable distance to historic downtown Main Street. Stayed in the Benton Suite-loves spacious room, wrap around balcony & comfy bed.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, we stayed in the Benton room, it was amazing! The room was in spotless condition, it was such a large and welcoming space. The tub was huge! I'm 6"4 and have trouble fitting in any tub, and this was perfect for my wife and I. The location is the best you will find in town. It's steps away from main Street and all the shops and restaurants! Also very peaceful even with it being close to main street, it's secluded on a quiet side street. The host maria was super sweet and responsive. Cannot recommend this place enough!
