Hidden Springs Bed & Breakfast

Wow, so happy that we ended up booking this place. We stayed in the slumber hill cottage and had a fantastic view off the porch. So close to all the shops and restaurants. Their service and hospitality were unmatched, they truly value their guests here! Beautiful room and amazing French toast casserole brought straight to our door!

My daughter (11) and I drove from Illinois to shop downtown and see The Great Passion Play. We stayed in the Carriage House. It’s a small space but very sweet. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The property manager was so accommodating. Our breakfast was brought to us at 8:30am on the nose every morning. (8:30 was our request) She checked in on us daily, gave us great recommendations, and had hot chocolate for my daughter too. Our tiny cottage was clean, the bed was comfortable, and our breakfast was hot and delicious!

4.5 stars out of 5. This was a 15th anniversary trip for us and or first trip to Eureka Springs. First, Amber hosted us and was very kind, helpful, and an excellent cook. Second, the accommodations are great. We stayed in the room off the main lobby. It’s an historic house but was classy and quiet. Third, it’s close to everything but you won’t be overrun by other people. Excellent location. Finally, the only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars was that there is a peculiar musty smell especially in the main room/main kitchen. This carried a little bit into our room. My wife is highly sensitive to smells that give her headaches. I could smell it but it didn’t bother me in the same way. We planned an anniversary trip to Eureka and chose Hidden Springs due to its history and Victorian style. Amber the property manager was very kind and understanding as we were late for our check-in time. We booked through booking.com so we didn’t realize we would be placed in the Hillside cottage right below the main check-in area and kitchen. We could hear voices and footsteps at various times, so it felt a little less private than we would have liked. We should have booked through their website to specify which cottage we would’ve preferred. The room was quaint and cute, but there was a mildewy smell. I read the reviews & I feel bamboozled! We will not stay here again. We booked the silent springs room. We expected quaint but this place is so small! No closet, no amenities like a refrigerator or microwave. The tv was the size of a 2018 computer monitor. We were allowed to book a room, with a 6:30 pm check in. We called to gain room access & were told to come back in an hour-the room hadn’t been cleaned yet. 2 hours later when we returned, the floors were still wet from the mop & there were hairs on the floor in the wet water, where the mop had not been cleaned before reuse. There was a whirlpool tub that was very old-we were scared of what lurked in the vents. The only thing we liked was that the patio furniture was comfortable. Breakfast delivered on time. It was unremarkable. We went
