Customer Reviews
Incredible food, the best noodles and wontons I’ve ever had. Kind and attentive server who was in charge of the whole restaurant but did an amazing job. Super friendly, welcoming and other customers made it feel like a homey place. Will 1,000,000% come back! The chaoshou is the gem of the menu, truly delicious.
SO INCREDIBLE. the chaushou & its sauce is incredible, so it the smoked fish & ITS sauce. the meatball was so great & the soup dumplings are a must. we also got the pork belly noodle soup, shredded pork & salted veggie noodle soup, and pan-fried flat noodle. all of those were great, the broth was relatively mild, but very soothing for a winter day. thank you so much for serving us!!
I can’t say enough about how incredible this place is. First of all, these are hands down the best soup dumplings and Shanghainese dishes in Cleveland! Second, the two ladies that work up front work extremely hard every single day that the restaurant is open. They provide some of the best service I’ve ever received and they know their customers extremely well. Every time I walk in, I’m welcomed with warm enthusiasm and hilarious banter. They truly go above and beyond. I couldn’t ask for more from a restaurant!
I think this place is “too authentic” Chinese for us. What I meant is they use specific Chinese oil/seasoning that cause my tongue tingling and uncomfortable after taste. Overpriced + salty! Plus their foods are not healthy, too much oil, causes uncomfortable burping/ heavy on the stomach after eating. The beef noodles is 3/5 because of the beef (so tender and juicy). The wonton is okay 2.75/5 (salty broth). These 3 dishes cost ~$41, not including tips yet. Reply to your comment: This is the correct Bill okay? Who you think you are to tell me to talk to the other? ITS OVERPRICED AND NOT WORTH THE PRICE for what we pay. Note that they only accept cash (to avoid tax?! 🤔🤷). We are not coming back to this place FOR SURE! Overall 2.75/5
Came on a Saturday evening during rush hour. Had to wait for a table but that gave me time to read over the menu. Definitely recommend going with parties of 4 or less. I witness larger parties having to wait longer. Food: I got the soup dumplings (pictured) and the shredded pork with pickle noodle soup (not pictured). Both very delicious.
