The meal itself felt very unpretentious, home-style cooking that focuses on flavor over fancy plating. I tried the stewed steak and onions, rice with pigeon peas, and plantains. First time eating here tonight and I have to say it was a fun experience. First off, the customer service was excellent. Paty was so nice explaining all the delicious dishes. She also made the best piña coladas (no alcohol, highly recommend.) We tried the carne guisada & pastelón (plantain lasagna) which were flavorful. We live an hour away, but it was well worth the drive. We cannot wait to return & try everything on the menu.

Portions were generous, and everything tasted exactly how it should. The chuleta can-can stood out the most—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned perfectly. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they put out. Their specialty sauces and variety of options really separate them from other spots in the area.
