Live Crawfish & Seafood Restaurant Richmond/Henrico, VA

Service was a bit slow upon arriving there (around 7:45). We were immediately seated. Because there was a bigger party was definitely a wait due to only having one server. Food is flavorful and delicious. Ordered the New Orleans sampler (appetizer) which was seasoned so good! It’s not a very big portion but me and my daughter shared and it was just enough. Free refill on drinks! Decided to order ‘Most Popular’ boil and beignets to go…oh yeah and they ran out of beef sausage but overall not bad.

Delicious seafood boil! Their spices & garlic butter is absolutely amazing and paired perfect with lobster. The crab was also great and the boil comes with beef sausage which was my favorite! Unfortunately the corn wasn’t great and had a weird taste to it but everything else was so good. The server was super sweet and moved us to a booth once it was available since we were going to wait long. It did take a long time to receive our food because people ahead of us ordered 11 seafood boils…. Don’t come here to expect extremely fast service or food to come quick, just expect super delicious food and friendly service.

I had such a great experience with this seafood boil spot! I called in for carryout about an hour before closing, and the guy working, Ngo, was super attentive and made sure I got what I wanted. I ordered crab crawfish, and everything was absolutely delicious. It was actually my boyfriend’s first time ever trying a seafood boil, and he was completely blown away. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely one of the best seafood experiences we’ve had. Will be coming back for sure!

My husband introduced me to seafood boils a couple years ago and since then we have tried a few different places some in Richmond some outside of Richmond. This place has by far been my favorite and I'd rather not go anywhere else. The portions are huge and the flavor is perfect. They substituted anything I didn't like for things I did like and not once gave me an issue. First time we dined in and tonight we ordered for take out. We drive almost 2.5-3 hours to come here and get a boil whenever we get the time. Thank you for putting up with my picky palate and doing so with a smile. Good customer service is hard to find and you guys knock it out of the park. Thank you so much.

Live Crawfish & Seafood has been open since 2018, I have not heard about it until now. By far this is my most favorite Seafood Boil restaurant in Richmond. They make their sauce in-house and that is what made their food stand out from others. For someone who normally wouldn’t eat butter, I absolutely loved their Garlic Butter for dipping. The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. They cook and serve the food in aluminum serving trays. I actually liked it better than the bag. I asked for spicy and that was what I got. The seafood was very fresh and plenty for a meal. My husband and I shared the $55.99 Crab Lovers Special with one pound of Shrimp (heads off). It was plenty of food and we had leftover to bring home.
