Little Lois Cafe

The service was fast and my sandwich tasted fine, but it was a bit on the small side and could have used a bit more flavor - I went back to the counter and asked for extra sandwich spread, which helped. The way it was prepared reminded me of food delivered for a work lunch meeting. It was wrapped up all nice and tidy in paper and plastic wrap, and came with a tear open pack with a napkin and plastic utensils inside. Based on the signage, large delivery orders for businesses seem to be what they focus on, and that’s great if you are that target customer. But if you’re just a person who wants to grab a satisfying sandwich that won’t remind you of being fed at work, then I think a different place could be better. In Salem for work and hungry this cafe popped up as an option. My luck! Lots of options on the menu. Seems they mainly do catering and to-go orders but there is a small dine in area. My sandwich was pretty good.

The food is good. The issue is, I cannot support a business when the owner is just absolutely awful. Rude, condescending and viscous. You can have a great business model but if your attitude is awful eventually that will fail. It makes since the majority of the business is order online and delivery, it would not last long if she had direct contact with a lot of her customers. I feel bad for her employees as well, a lot of them are younger and most likely to afraid to address the issue at hand.

This is our favorite little lunch spot!! It's always delicious! The staff is always so sweet and welcoming!!! I only wish they were open a little longer because we love it so much!

I like this place and it has become my go to Friday lunch reward for making it through the week. The food is always fresh and the desserts are FANTASTIC. It is also super close to work so it is very convenient. I went 4 stars only because i cannot for the life of me figure out how to redeem my rewards when ordering. There seems to be no way to do it. Edit: figured out how to redeem my rewards. Now 5 stars.
